Faculty - Academic Surgical Oncologist

The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, Department of
Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, and National Cancer Institute
(NCI)-designated Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, seeks a
clinician with expertise in surgical oncology for a full-time professorial
position. Position includes participation in research programs, teaching
of medical students and residents, delivery of patient care, demonstration
of professional competency and activity, and performance of university and
public service. The candidate will have a background in clinical and
laboratory research, a demonstrated track record in scholarly activity,
and a strong publication record. Academic appointment as Assistant
Professor (tenure-track) will be recommended, based on training and
experience.

Candidates must possess M.D. degree, be board certified or eligible in
general surgery, and have completed a fellowship in surgical oncology. A
California medical license is required. All qualified applicants,
