Salary: Base salary commensurate with teaching experience
The University of California, Irvine, Department of Music is establishing
a pool of qualified applicants as Lecturer in Music for 2007/2008 Academic
Year. Applicants are invited to apply for part-time positions as they
arise in:
Music Theory and Musicianship
Wind Ensemble conductor
Choral Assistant
Electronic Music
Bibliography
Music History
And part-time needs as they arise, for studio instructors in:
Voice
Flute
Oboe
Clarinet
Bassoon
Horn
Trumpet
Trombone
Tuba
Percussion
Viola
Violoncello
Bass
Piano
Guitar
Saxophone
Violin
Jazz winds, and jazz rhythm section
Compensation for studio instruction is based on a percent of time
depending on the number of students. Base salary commensurate with
teaching experience.
Minimum qualifications: Include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and
appropriate professional experience including teaching.
Applications: Are reviewed on an on-going basis and will be kept on file
throughout the academic year.
Review Process: Review of applications will begin July 1, 2007.
Applications will continue to be accepted through the corresponding
quarterly deadline listed below.
Spring Quarter 2008
Review process begins December 31, 2007

positions: February 28, 2008
