Housing Director

The Big Valley Rancheria is seeking a self-motivated individual with
considerable housing experience.

The Housing Director will be responsible for both HUD and Tribal housing,
including preparation and submission of the annual IHP, APR, ASER,
Self-Monitoring Assessment, and all required HUD compliance
documentation.

Applicant must possess a thorough understanding of Indian Housing Programs
and have some familiarity with housing construction.

Applicants must possess good organizational skills and the initiative and
ability to implement new housing programs, such as IDA, housing
counseling, etc.

Applicant must possess good communications skills and have the ability to
provide regular written and oral reports to the Tribal Administrator and
CBDO.

Applicant must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft
Word and Excel, as well as have good internet research skills.

Applicant must possess successful grant writing experience to acquire
additional funding to meet the Tribe's housing needs. B.A. in Community
Development or related field preferred.
